Amador Rojas: Flamenco Documentary in Sevilla & Madrid 2010

In August of 2010, I was hired to DP a documentary on a Flamenco Dancer named Amador Rojas in Spain.

Amador is an amazing dancer of Flamenco who pays tribute to the old styles while creating a new fusion of movement and dance. For the month of August, the crew and I followed him through his home town of Seville, through smokey flamenco bars and performance halls, while he told his story. After spending time with his family and learning about Amador's childhood we took a train to Madrid to search out the first places Amador took to the stage.

The documentary is just now getting edited so look out for it in 2011.

Here is a short documentary I directed and edited which we originally used to raise money for our trip.
